The provision of Funeral Directors Services
- 24-hour removal of your loved one into our care within a 20-mile radius of the funeral home
- A funeral director / arranger to personally oversee the funeral arrangements and attend on the day of the funeral
- Full use of the chapel and private viewing facilities during normal office hours
- Attending to all necessary arrangements during normal office hours with access to 24-hour professional advice
- Provision of simple coffin and basic white gown suitable for burial or cremation
- Preparation and continuous care of the deceased (embalming not included)
- Provision of hearse with driver within a 20-mile radius to meet at the service at a time and date of our choosing
- Burial may be specified as opposed to cremation
Cost of Simple Funeral Option £2,150.00
Extra services available
- Extra bearers – £50.00 each
- Embalming (if required, recommended and advised for viewing) – £150.00
- Removal of pacemaker – £95.00
- Additional mileage per mile (above 20-mile radius) – £1.75 per mile
- Collection and delivery of ashes – within a 20-mile radius free of charge.
Additional mileage charged at £1.75 per mile - Ashes casket – basic polished oak (TSM4) (Hilda or Cuthbert) – £75.00
- Ashes casket – solid oak or polished mahogany (TSM4) – £95.00
- Double size ashes casket – solid oak or polished mahogany (TSM4) – £155.00
- Allsops scatter tubes: Token – £35.00, Small – £40.00, Medium – £45.00, Large – £50.00
- Order of service starting from £2.50 each, minimum order 20 (price on request due to them being bespoke)
Additional charges:
- All disbursements for cemetery / crematorium / and minister’s payments made on your behalf
Please note that by choosing the Simple Funeral Service Option the following services are not permitted:
- Visiting the deceased without an appointment or out of hours
- Choice of time and date of the funeral (the service will be 10.30am or before or after 3.00pm)
- Dressing of the deceased in personal clothing
- Traditional cortege from funeral home or personal residence
- Alternative horse drawn or specialist hearse
- Provision of a limousine
- Organisation of newspaper notices or floral tributes
Please note that a church service or cortege is not an option on a Simple Funeral Option
A Simple Funeral Service Option funeral requires a minimum deposit of £1595.00 to be paid 48 hours prior to the funeral taking place
