Flowers are an integral part of a funeral; a beautiful, touching way to pay one’s respects to someone special and an uplifting spectacle, flooding the ceremony with perfume and colour.

We are happy to advise on the kinds of flowers that are typically associated with funerals, your options in decorating the funeral venue, and – through our close links with expert local florists – any particular requirements surrounding special orders.

It has become a common practice for families to donate suitable floral arrangements to caring and charitable organisations, such as hospitals and nursing homes, after the funeral. We are happy to arrange such a donation if that is your wish. We will also keep a list of floral tributes sent by well-wishers who were unable to attend the ceremony, and can keep and pass on their kind messages of condolence, if desired.

Many families will choose to limit the sending of floral tributes to just the immediate family and instead ask others to donate to charity. Please let us know if this is something you would like to do
