At Johnson, Durning & Woods, our service to you doesn’t end with the funeral
We pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive service, and that means we appreciate that you are likely to need our support, even after the funeral has happened.
Professional bereavement counselling is a standard element of our offering, and we can also suggest other local providers of grief support.
The obituary notice is something we are happy to create and arrange for you following the death of your loved one. This is how you would normally publicly announce the death and details of the funeral service, as well as details of where any flower donations can be sent. The obituary notice is usually placed in a local or national newspaper, and if the deceased lived in another town or city at any point, you may choose to place a notice in a different local newspaper. We are also happy to design and place an acknowledgement notice for you in a local or national newspaper.
This gives you the opportunity to publicly thank those who have supported and assisted you.
Ask for our advice on anything from headstone upkeep to the scattering of ashes – we’ll do our utmost to help in any way we can.
